The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex matters and build client relationships. • Exceptional background in bankruptcy and creditor rights and commercial/business litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and critical thinking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written advocacy at motion hearings and trial.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents.
• Conduct discovery, including written and deposition discovery.
• Represent financial institutions regarding bankruptcy and creditor rights disputes.
• Mediation and negotiation of case settlements.
• Assist in business development efforts related to litigation practice.
