Managing Attorney (Ownership Track) Bankruptcy

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Attorney specializing in Bankruptcy law to join our firm on an ownership track. The successful candidate will lead our bankruptcy practice, providing strategic direction, managing a team of attorneys, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the bankruptcy department, overseeing case assignments, and ensuring effective case management.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the firm's bankruptcy practice.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 filings.
• Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on bankruptcy-related matters.
• Mentor and develop junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Iowa State Bar.
