Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Licensed in Iowa or actively pursuing Iowa licensure.
At least three years of attorney experience; five or more years preferred.
Bankruptcy and restructuring, commercial litigation, secured lending, loan transactions, state court litigation, real estate, agricultural matters, or business law experience.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned bankruptcy, debt restructuring, and related business matters with senior attorney collaboration.
Evaluate client circumstances and help develop practical legal and financial strategies.
Research legal issues and draft petitions, schedules, motions, pleadings, orders, and other documents.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, depositions, hearings, and court proceedings.
Assist with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 12 matters, including claims and restructuring issues.
Communicate clearly with clients, financial advisers, opposing counsel, courts, and stakeholders.
