Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active license to practice law in the United States, with a minimum of 3 to 10+ years of hands-on bankruptcy law experience.
• Direct experience as an independent contributor on bankruptcy matters, including filings, court appearances, and advisory work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
• Judicial clerkship experience, particularly for a bankruptcy or federal judge (preferred).
• Experience teaching law or creating legal instructional materials (preferred).
• Editorial experience with a legal journal or law review during law school (preferred).
