Responsibilities

• Represent financial institutions, creditors, landlords, and commercial clients in bankruptcy, foreclosures, and collection litigation.
• Handle loan workouts, restructurings, and creditor recovery strategies.
• Litigate in state and federal courts and draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and forbearance documents.
• Advise clients on enforcement and recovery strategies and coordinate with partners.

I am recruiting on behalf of an established, highly respected mid-sized Baltimore law firm seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its growing Financial Services / Creditors'Rights practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–5 years of experience who enjoys sophisticated litigation, meaningful client interaction, and working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.

The Opportunity:

The selected attorney will represent financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, and commercial clients in a variety of matters, including:

• Bankruptcy proceedings, foreclosures, and collection litigation
• Loan workouts, restructurings, and creditor recovery strategies
• Commercial and financial services litigation in state and federal courts
• Drafting pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, loan modifications, and forbearance agreements
• Advising clients on enforcement and recovery strategies

What We're Looking For:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Maryland Bar admission required
• 2–5 years of relevant creditors' rights, bankruptcy, or financial services litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, litigation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating with partners and clients
