The Cincinnati, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania offices of FBT Gibbons are seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate.

The Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group is a growing and diverse practice with a national footprint. Our attorneys practice in all areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law, with a focus on sophisticated corporate reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and insolvency counseling, and related litigation. Clients include official committees of unsecured creditors and bondholders, debtors-in-possession, Chapter 11 and 7 trustees, secured creditors and lenders, indenture trustees, insurers, asset purchasers, lessors, and other significant creditors.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Chapter 11 work, corporate restructuring matters, including the representation of debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors in complex bankruptcy cases, workouts and restructurings
• Additional experience in bankruptcy-related litigation in state and federal courts strongly preferred
• Superior academic credentials, and excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $195,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates are also eligible for:

• Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
