Job summary

California Bank & Trust in San Diego, CA is seeking a Banking Representative to manage relationships with existing and new clients and ensure their business needs are met.

You will perform outbound sales and service calls across loans and bank products, expand the client base, and follow all procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in inside sales, branch and business banking, credit lending and analysis or other directly related experience.
• Working knowledge of sales, lending, credit analysis, customer service, retention skills and banking products and services.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and make recommendations for bank products.
• Familiarity of the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
• Must have good customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use a variety of computer software.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect referrals.
• Responsible for expanding client base by sourcing new relationships and making recommendations for bank products and services to new and existing relationships.
• May assist clients with product offerings, selection, loan application processes and opening accounts via phone.
• Responsible for following all operational procedures and adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provides support to business unit personnel as needed.
• Assists with department projects and tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000 - $77,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
