What You'll Do
Banking Operations & Transaction Processing
- Process a high volume of complex regulatory banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Navigate multiple banking and processing systems while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate transactions for risk, approval requirements, account limits, and potential fraud concerns.
Member & Partner Support
- Respond to member and internal partner inquiries via phone, email, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and resolve member, vendor, and internal issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Escalate complex situations and potential concerns to Associates or leadership when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of member interactions, activities, and transactions.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Assist with specialized regulatory activities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Quality Control & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct quality control reviews on assigned processes and transactions.
- Monitor and validate transactional reports for accuracy.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Share process improvement ideas that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and member experience.
- Support training efforts and assist in developing fellow associates.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; some post-secondary education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking or financial industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with governmental banking regulatory reporting activities.
- Knowledge of deposit account maintenance, IRA processing, tax reporting, or other banking operations functions.
