Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Banking Operations Associate to support regulatory transaction processing, risk management, and exceptional member service in a fast-paced banking environment. You will help ensure accurate processing of complex transactions and regulatory compliance.

You will navigate multiple banking systems, respond to member and partner inquiries, perform quality control, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; some post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking or financial industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of complex regulatory banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Navigate multiple banking and processing systems while meeting SLAs.
  • Evaluate transactions for risk, approval requirements, account limits, and potential fraud concerns.
  • Respond to member and internal partner inquiries via phone, email, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
  • Research and resolve member, vendor, and internal issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Escalate complex situations and potential concerns to Associates or leadership when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of member interactions, activities, and transactions.
  • Assist with specialized regulatory activities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct quality control reviews on assigned processes and transactions.
  • Monitor and validate transactional reports for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Share process improvement ideas that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and member experience.
  • Support training efforts and assist in developing fellow associates.

What You'll Do
Banking Operations & Transaction Processing
  • Process a high volume of complex regulatory banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Navigate multiple banking and processing systems while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Evaluate transactions for risk, approval requirements, account limits, and potential fraud concerns.
Member & Partner Support
  • Respond to member and internal partner inquiries via phone, email, and mail in a timely and professional manner.

What You Bring
