Valley Bank is offering a 9-week Valley Internship Program (VIP) for diverse, talented students seeking hands-on experience in banking. Interns join a team, work on real projects, and gain practical business skills through mentorship and professional development.

Rising sophomores to graduate students in relevant fields are encouraged to apply and will have opportunities to network with senior leaders and contribute to VIP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Currently enrolled as a college/university student.

Responsibilities

• Support your manager in performing research and/or analysis on specific topics.
• Independently complete tasks that contribute to larger projects.
• Participate in meetings and team discussions to gain insight and contribute to goals.
• Communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate work and gather information.
• Join team building activities to establish cross functional relationships within the Valley community.
• Participate in VIP mentorship meetings to develop skills and network with senior leaders.
• Document and report progress and results of projects and tasks.
• Attend professional development sessions/classes.
