Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a seasoned Data Strategy Consultant for a long-term contract in the United States, focusing on Compliance and Financial Crimes within banking clients. You will design and implement cutting-edge data architectures and lead Azure-based data solutions.

Ideal candidate has extensive consulting experience with financial services, deep expertise in Azure Databricks, Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, Collibra, and a strong grasp of data governance and data mesh concepts to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field.
Extensive consulting experience with financial services & banking clients.
Hands-on with Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Informatica PowerCenter.
MDM and Data Governance design expertise.
Knowledge of data mesh concepts and AI/BI in banking.
Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, BSA/AML compliance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

Design data architectures aligning with business objectives and regulatory needs.
Lead Azure-based data solutions using Databricks and PowerCenter.
Implement MDM and DG frameworks with Collibra.
Develop data products and evolve data mesh architecture.
Ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to define scope and deliver.
Provide technical leadership to data engineering teams.
Apply AI, BI, analytics to banking data-driven decisions.
Contribute to data strategy development and roadmap planning.
