CBTx is seeking a customer service oriented bank teller to assist customers with checking, savings, and basic account transactions in a branch setting. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and the sale of cashier's checks, money orders, CBTx gift cards, and related services, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, fluent English, and at least basic math and clerical skills; prior banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Good personal credit history expected.
• 1 year experience in financial institution preferred.

Responsabilités

• Recognizes customers by name and responds to requests according to CBTx procedures.
• Receives checks and cash for deposits, verifies amounts, and records transactions accurately.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; verifies signatures and balances.
• Receives loan payments and applies them to customer accounts, generating receipts.
• Promotes CBTx services such as loans, insurance, IRAs, CDs, safe deposit boxes, cashier checks, CBTx gift cards, and money orders.
• Counts, checks, and packages coins and currency.
• Balances cash drawer at shift end and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintains compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
