Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
• Valid Driver's License and access to a car or other motorized vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store and provides fast service.
• Rings sales on the cash register, handles money, gives correct change, and processes refunds/exchanges.
• Assist with shift changes by counting cash in the drawer at the start and end of a shift.
• Process money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales as needed.
• Check IDs for restricted sales and stock shelves with merchandise; price items according to the price book.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas and equipment; ensure safety and sanitation practices.
• Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts; review assignments and duties.
• Support store operations and perform other duties as assigned.
