Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Chattanooga seeks a Banking Center Manager to lead a team onsite, immerse in the community, build and maintain client relationships, and oversee all branch functions to drive success.

The role requires strong leadership, staff coaching, and meeting sales/service goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and controlling expenses. A bachelor's degree and retail banking experience are expected, with Word/Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of retail banking experience.
1-2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Background credit check and compliance with the SAFÉ Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the banking center team to achieve service and sales goals.
Engage with the local market and community through civic organizations.
Ensure staff are trained and motivated to deliver high-quality customer service and meet profit targets.
Develop and implement activities within the branch market area.
Maintain appropriate staffing to ensure high-quality service levels.
Monitor production efficiencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage operating and administrative expenses.
Resolve customer service issues and represent the company professionally.

Summary

You will immerse yourself in the community, build and maintain client relationships, and oversee all banking center functions to lead your team's success.

Key Responsibilities Include

Business development of market area through proactive sales calls and networking to meet or exceed all consumer and business loans, deposits and fee income goals.
Involvement in the local market/community through civic organizations or community groups.
Ensure that personnel are trained and motivated to attain high quality customer service standards and profit goals through proactive sales.
In conjunction with support groups such as retail administration for retail branch managers, develop, identify and implement activities within the branch market area.
Ensure that appropriate staffing is maintained at all times to provide high quality customer service levels.
Regularly monitor the efficiencies of production standards.
Ensure that regulatory compliance standards are met.
Responsible for controlling operational and administrative expenses.
Responsible for resolving all customer service problems.
Responsible for representing the company in a professional manner at all civic and community affairs.
