Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking a Call Center Representative to handle incoming calls and deliver outstanding customer service. You will guide customers to the right departments and support them with routine banking tasks, while building strong relationships and ensuring follow‑up on requests.

The role offers a defined path for advancement within the Call Center, from Representative to II and III, with increased responsibilities and pay as you develop expertise.

Qualifications

• One year banking experience preferred.
• Two years customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Valley Bank products/services to effectively present appropriate solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Be the initial customer contact on the phone, greeting and directing to the right department.
• Develop and retain customer relationships through active listening and referrals to appropriate bankers.
• Monitor and maintain daily reports.
• Provide research, maintenance, and technical support for bill pay, online banking, remote deposit, and debit cards.
• Assist with account research, general maintenance, returns, fraud disputes, and check ordering.
