Job summary

FSNB is seeking an entry level Bookkeeping Clerk in Lawton, OK. The role supports the bookkeeping department and handles customer service, data entry, and basic office duties in a busy banking environment.

Hours are 8:30 to 5:00, Monday through Friday with possible Saturday rotation. Paid training and growth opportunities are provided within a long-standing, family-owned community bank in Lawton.

Qualifications

• Meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Meet performance metrics.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering and handling calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Complete paperwork or data entries accurately and efficiently.
• Filing and other basic office duties.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Answer basic questions from customers and assist with overflow calls.
• Close account requests and research and process telephone transfer requests.
• Work large item reports, stop payment reports, unposted reports, and Medicaid/Social Security info requests.
• Respond to customers through secure messaging platform.
• Learn and operate the switchboard; cover vacations; potential Saturday rotation.
• Balance reports including telephone transfers, ACH files, and internal accounts.
