Job summary

Republic Bank of Chicago is seeking an Associate Banker II at the Mt. Greenwood branch in Chicago, IL.

You will serve as the initial sales and service contact for clients, handle teller-related tasks, and develop new and existing account relationships through referrals across retail, commercial, and investment lines. You will need strong cash handling, customer service, and knowledge of banking policies, with at least one year in banking.

Qualifications

• Extensive cash handling experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Professional image and strong public interaction.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of banking policies and regulations.
• Minimum one year as Personal Banker and/or Teller.
• Ability to sell and refer bank products.
• Flexible scheduling ability.

Responsibilities

• Cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
• Service accounts and open new account relationships.
• Handle teller-related duties and transactions.
• Process transfers, check orders, and account maintenance.
• Meet or exceed sales goals while delivering excellent service.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
• Represent the bank in the community and uphold branch standards.
