Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking a Technical Integration Engineer – Banking & Financial Systems in New York for a six-month contract-to-hire engagement. The role focuses on onboarding banks and credit unions, owning end-to-end integrations, and delivering production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate will excel in REST API integrations, data mapping, and troubleshooting, with experience collaborating directly with external partners and internal teams to ensure successful implementations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in integration engineering, solutions engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with REST API integrations, including JSON, authentication, data mapping, error handling, and API testing.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills with external clients or partners.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end onboarding and integration implementations for banks and credit unions.
• Gather tech requirements and translate workflows into integration specs and data mappings.
• Configure, test, and maintain integrations using Workato, REST APIs, SFTP, and core banking connectors.
• Execute end-to-end testing for account creation, loan boarding, funding, and data updates.
• Troubleshoot API connectivity, authentication, data mapping, and production issues.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal Product, Engineering, and Account Management teams.
• Support production launches and post-launch issue resolution to maintain reliability.
• Improve implementation efficiency with templates, automation, and documentation.
• Leverage AI tools for data mapping, troubleshooting, and technical docs.
