Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience; banking/regulatory environment preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and standard accounting practices.
• Proficiency with Excel and general office software for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review daily balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Prepare and record journal entries with complete documentation and approvals.
• Produce monthly internal financial reports and explain variances to management.
• Maintain reconciliations and monitor aging items for documentation and resolution.
• Record monthly accruals including real estate-related expenses and incentive accruals; reconcile to general ledger.
• Assist with accounts payable research, invoice processing, and vendor inquiries.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations with schedules and explanations.
