Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a detail-oriented Cashier/Bank Clerk responsible for reconciling and securing items in the casino bank. You will handle markers, front money, safekeeping returns and write-offs, and process transfers between banks with the cash from gaming tables.

Responsibilities include preparing fills/credits for table games, daily negotiable deposits, and pickups. Must have money handling experience, strong communication, and good organizational skills to operate in a fast-paced casino

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have prior money handling experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of casino banking operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcilies and secures all items maintained in the assigned bank.
• Processes transfers to/from Fill and Main banks and handles money from table drops.
• Prepares fills and credits for table games and processes Dealer’s tokens.
• Prepares daily deposits with negotiable instruments and cash for pickup.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for reconciling and securing all items maintained in assigned bank.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

includes but not limited to:

• Reconciles customer accounts for issuance and redemption of markers, front money, safekeeping returns and write-offs
• Processes transfers to and from the Fill and Main banks, while taking in the money from the table and bill validator drops
• Prepares fills and credits for table games and processes Dealer’s tokes
• Prepares the daily deposit with negotiable instruments and cash and accompanies deposits for pick-up

Secondary Duties And Responsibilities

• Encodes markers for daily deposits
• Rotates chips on a daily basis

Minimum Education And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have previous money handling experience

Competencies

Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of all the specialized banks, front window areas and pits

Training Requirements

• Knowledge of the casino computer management system

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a smoking environment
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
