Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Commercial Card Account Manager to oversee and grow a portfolio of commercial card clients across the Bancorp. You will act as the primary relationship contact, coordinating with Sales, Operations, Product and Treasury to deliver tailored payment solutions and drive program utilization.

The role emphasizes relationship management, consultative selling, analytics, and project management to elevate client experiences and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in bankcard products and services, client account services support management, or general bankcard operations.
  • Working knowledge of account management and full knowledge of the product line and its applications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective negotiation, analysis, and judgment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop customized solutions.
  • Proven client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established directions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship contact to support and retain a portfolio of Commercial Card clients across the Bancorp.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client administrators, program managers, procurement teams, and finance leaders.
  • Conduct regular reviews and consultations to identify spend expansion, card utilization, and program growth opportunities.
  • Analyze client program performance, spending trends, and utilization metrics to address concerns and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Develop and implement tailored payment solutions that align directly with client business objectives.
  • Partner with Sales for renewals and expansions, and collaborate with Operations, Product, and Treasury to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Resolve moderately complex client issues with sound judgment, accuracy, and a high level of satisfaction.
  • Educate clients on Commercial Card products, program enhancements, best practices, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Lead or participate in client business reviews, implementations, and internal strategic initiatives, providing subject matter expertise.
  • Maintain accurate portfolio documentation (CRM), stay current on industry trends, and travel for client meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Commercial Card Account Manager to join Zions Bancorporation. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Commercial Card clients across the Bancorp while serving as a trusted advisor and primary relationship contact. The Commercial Card Account Manager proactively engages clients to optimize program performance, increase card spend, strengthen client retention, and identify opportunities to expand product adoption.

The successful candidate will combine strong relationship management, consultative sales, analytical, and project management skills to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve portfolio growth objectives. This position serves as a key liaison between clients and internal partners, collaborating across Sales, Product, Operations, and Service teams to implement solutions, remove barriers to program utilization, and support client business goals.

Work Location:This position fully in office (5 days a week) in:

  • Midvale, UT
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • Pheonix, AZ

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70k-$80k annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location
