Job summary

First Horizon Bank seeks a Teller to provide quality customer service in a retail banking environment at our site in Louisiana. You will handle daily cash transactions, assist clients with deposits and withdrawals, and identify opportunities to refer customers to banking products and services.

Responsibilities include maintaining cash drawer integrity, processing a variety of transactions, and upholding compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; 10-key calculator; coin counter.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer and follow audit and security policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, money orders, etc.).
• Assist in daily balancing and ATM processing and night lobby depository
• Stay informed of all updates to ensure compliance with current guidelines.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer clients to the appropriate team.
• Comply with bank regulations, internal controls, and ethics standards.
