Paycom Banking is seeking a Teller to handle a variety of customer cash transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. You will process deposits, withdrawals, checks, money orders, and cash advances, while ensuring daily cash drawer balance and security compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of cash handling/teller experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with calculators, standard office equipment, internal bank software and PC software (Excel/Word/Outlook) preferred.
• Prior team-oriented work experience preferred.
• Aptitude for accuracy with numbers.
• Excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately handles transactions at the teller window with teller program.
• Receives and processes deposits/withdrawals to checking and savings accounts.
• Cashes checks and makes change for customers.
• Issues money orders and cashier’s checks.
• Assists customers in cashing and savings bonds.
• Processes credit card cash advances.
• Opens and processes night drop deposits per logging procedures.
• Balances cash drawer daily and maintains security procedures.
• Cross-sells bank services to customers.
• Answers inquiries in-person or by phone about account status.
• Assists with filing, record-keeping, and vault/balancing tasks as needed.
• Maintains lobby appearance and assists during opening/closing procedures.
• Performs ATM functions as needed.
