Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Completion of Southside Bank training courses: New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, Teller Advanced and Professional Teller.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services and process transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain cash drawer within balancing standards and report discrepancies.
• Accept and verify customer deposits and cash checks within limits.
• Explain bank products and cross-sell appropriate services.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive bank information and customer data.
• Deliver professional, courteous service and meet or exceed operational goals.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and participate in team initiatives.
