Job summary

Merchants & Marine Bank seeks a Retail Bank Teller I/II to serve as a front-line contact for customers at the Lucedale branch. You will handle deposits, cash checks, process loan payments, and support vault duties while promoting bank products and services.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional travel to other branch locations to support operations and staffing needs. A high school diploma is required.

Job Summary

As a Retail Bank Teller I/II, you are a front-line customer service provider and the first point of contact for banking customers. The Teller accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; assists with night depository and vault duties; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining excellent customer relationships and referring customers to appropriate staff for additional products and services.

This position is scheduled to work Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some travel to other branch locations may be required as needed to support business operations, training, customer service, or staffing needs.
