Job summary

Merchants & Marine Bank in Lucedale, MS is seeking an experienced Retail Bank Teller I/II to be the first point of contact for customers. You will handle deposits, loan payments, cash checks, and support night depository and vault duties while building strong customer relationships and guiding clients to the appropriate staff for additional products and services.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday 7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Professionalism in customer interactions required.
• Ability to process financial transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Retail Bank Teller that wants to be a part of friendly team that is committed to providing exceptional service to the customers they serve.

Job Summary

As a Retail Bank Teller I/II, you are a front-line customer service provider and the first point of contact for banking customers. The Teller accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; assists with night depository and vault duties; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining excellent customer relationships and referring customers to appropriate staff for additional products and services.

This position is scheduled to work Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some travel to other branch locations may be required as needed to support business operations, training, customer service, or staffing needs.
