The Banking Partnerships team is highly cross-functional, working with many of Chime’s core teams including Product, Marketing, Finance, Member Services to ensure we have streamlined execution of our strategic priorities.

In this role, you will guide some of Chime’s top priorities and interact directly with management internally at Chime as well as at both of our partner banks. This job requires robust skills in strategic planning, problem solving, organization, and clear communication. This role requires a self-directed, initiative-taking, detail-oriented individual with deep relationship and management skills. As an ideal candidate, you have the ability to work on multiple work streams simultaneously in a dynamic environment, have experience of working in a partnership role, and be able to work proficiently and influence cross-functionally. This role blends operational precision with strategic thinking; perfect for someone with a consultant mindset who is looking to go deep and drive outcomes.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $130,050.00 and up to $180,600.00. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to:
  • Operational Excellence: Assist the Head of Bank Partnerships to manage the engagement model with Chime’s partner banks to ensure clear communication of top priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Operating Rhythm: Oversee the operating cadence with our partner banks. This includes coordinating and managing recurring project review meetings with bank leadership and cross-functional Chime teams to review and approve top priorities.
  • Scale and Efficiency: Redesign key operational processes that drive greater efficiency allowing Chime and the company to continue to scale as volumes increase ~2x.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Bank Partnerships team and bank stakeholders to ensure clear support of Chime’s top priorities and key operational initiatives.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee, track, and manage key bank KPIs (including approval SLAs) as well as key bank financial metrics
  • Bank Strategy: Shape the future of Chime’s Bank Partnership model by identifying strategic opportunities, and supporting new product expansion.
  • Contract Negotiations: Play an active role in contract negotiations by supporting deal structure and financial analysis. Spearhead select legal agreements.
  • Partnerships: Create and keep up good working relationships with stakeholders. Collaborate with Chime's executive team, partner banks, and various teams to reach shared objectives.
To thrive in this role, you have:
  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, ideally with exposure to financial services or Fintech as well as operational scaling.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience creating, implementing, and refining internal operating rhythms.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating action and management.
  • Adjustable in unexpected situations, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty.
