Job summary

OneUnited Bank is seeking a dedicated specialist to service high-risk and time-sensitive functions within the Service Fulfilment unit of Central Operations. You will fulfill requests in a timely manner while adhering to regulatory and legal requirements related to legal orders, remote check deposits, online accounts, and related operations.

This role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent customer service as you handle deposits, Reg.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and other bank software.
• Ability to recognize and identify potential fraud and notify supervisor.
• Experience in multi-state and multi-bank environments.

Responsibilities

• Process remote deposit checks and post incoming wires.
• Respond to subpoenas and process Reg. E claims.
• Open new accounts and service online/listing service accounts.
• Register customers for online banking and related services.
• Prepare escheatment reports and respond to escheatment letters.
• Communicate with branch staff and customers to provide excellent service.
• Prepare department reports detailing discrepancies and unresolved errors.
• Analyze bank records to validate transactions and determine sources.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
