Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting for Bank Support Practitioners to support individuals in their own homes across Scotland. We welcome compassionate, creative people with a positive attitude and offer fully funded SVQ training.

Experience isn’t required; values and transferrable skills matter. As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will assist with daily living, medication, finances, housework and personal care while supporting hobbies and community activities.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a supportive role with individuals who have diverse needs.
• Willingness to complete training and development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use computers for record-keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in their own homes with daily living and personal care.
• Support with medication and finances as needed.
• Help with housework, meal preparation and cooking.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and community activities.
• Work well in a team and independently; maintain accurate records.
• Participate in continuous in-house training to develop skills and career.
