Job summary

BOT Career Opportunities is seeking a Controller for a Bank in Tennessee. You will develop and maintain accurate accounting systems, ensure integrity of financial and regulatory reports, and prepare annual budgets with the CFO. You will also manage the Bank’s accounting staff and support holding company accounting.

This high-visibility role requires professionalism, flexibility, and leadership to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory guidelines and to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Bank Accounting or Auditing Banks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and regulatory reporting and prepare financial reports as needed (GAAP and regulatory).
• Collaborate with CFO on accounting period close and budgets/forecasts.
• Draft the Consolidated Annual Report and maintain FDICIA controls.
• Manage Bank and Tennessee staff accounting operations and supervision.
