Job summary

Community State Bank in Wisconsin is seeking a Compliance Officer to lead, strengthen and monitor the bank’s compliance program, policies, and training, ensuring alignment with federal and state expectations.

This role develops training, conducts risk assessments, coordinates CRA/HMDA data accuracy, supports audits and regulatory exams, and reports to the Board. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, CRCM or related certification, and at least 5 years in banking compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• CRCM or similar certification preferred.
• Ongoing compliance related education is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the bank’s compliance programs and training.
• Assess and monitor enterprise risks and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate CRA/HMDA data collection and data integrity.
• Prepare reports for the Board and assist audits/exams.
• Support bank-wide compliance across departments and committees.
• Assist in special projects to improve procedures and systems.
