Overview

The NMAHP bank is recruiting for all AHP roles within NHS Highland. Bank workers will be able to view and book shifts across NHS Highland through an electronic booking system, allowing them to flexibly manage working arrangements based on available work. Positions are available in various locations and across all care groups, including acute and community hospitals and community settings.

All AHP staff must be HCPC registered on the relevant section of the register.

Band and Experience

Positions are available at Band 5, 6 or 7 based on the individual's experience and service demand.

Working Conditions

From 1 April 2024 the full‑time working week is reduced from 37.5 to 37 hours per week with no change in pay. The new working hours apply for full‑time staff; part‑time staff receive a pro‑rata adjustment. Some service areas may require an additional up to 30 minutes per week temporarily until the new schedule is adopted, for which staff will be paid.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
