Now Hiring: Bandsaw Operator

Location: Jonesboro, AR

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Second Shift: 4 PM - 1:30 AM | Monday - Friday | Saturday OT as Needed

Band Saw Operator Requirements

• At least 1 year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of safe machine operation, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to lift 50‑75 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Preferred: Forklift certification or experience and a background in metal fabrication, steel processing, or industrial manufacturing.

Band Saw Operator Job Duties

• Set up, operate, and maintain industrial band saw machines to cut materials to precise specifications.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cuts and quality standards.
• Measure, mark, inspect, and verify finished materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including blade changes, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting daily production and quality goals.
