Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be proficient with various hand tools and banding equipment.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must obtain hi-lo (forklift) certification.
• Must be able to operate a jib crane and a computer tag program.
• Must tolerate loud machinery and dusty environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on concrete all shift.
• Must communicate effectively and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic banders efficiently.
• Oversee the packaging of coils processed by the slitters on the line.
• Follow the packaging schedule as directed by the supervisor.
• Be exposed to moving machinery and heavy equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols to mitigate risks in manufacturing.
• Follow attendance policies as outlined in the handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
