Job summary

Contech in Greencastle, PA is seeking a Band Operator to support the fabrication of band sheets for infrastructure products. You will operate forklifts, coil buggies, and overhead cranes to position sheets and feed them into roll forming lines.

The role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow daily schedules. Hands-on training is provided, with opportunities for overtime and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid

Qualifications

• Experience using precision instruments and reading shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow schedules and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Operates forklift, coil buggy, or overhead crane to position sheets.
• Feeds band sheets into roll form and adjusts rolls for correct diameter.
• Performs welds and paints if necessary.
• Completes production/quality control paperwork and daily shift reports.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
