Charter Steel is hiring DAY SHIFT Banding Operators at 1658 Cold Springs Rd, Saukville, WI 53080. 5am–5pm rotates 5-2-2-5. Pay is $24.25/hr plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will enter and monitor order data, identify coils, operate coil handling and forklift equipment, and follow safety and quality procedures. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fast learner who can use hands-on approaches.
• Strong teamwork and attendance.
• Attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and monitor order data in the computer.
• Identify coils by printing and tagging throughout the process.
• Operate coil compactor and other coil handling equipment.
• Use hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools; operate a forklift.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while on a 12-hour rotating shift.

2 Positions Available at Charter Steel - 1658 Cold Springs Rd. Saukville, WI 53080

Banding Operator | 5am - 5pm | $24.25/hr

• Enter and monitor order data into the computer.
• Accurately identify coils by printing and applying tags throughout the process.
• Operate coil compactor and other coil handling equipment.
• Operate hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools.
• Operate a forklift.
• Teamwork & communication is essential in this role
• Follow all safety & quality procedures
• Frequent standing, walking, kneeling. Push/pull, and lifting up to 20lbs. Reaching over 15\" away from your body
• Rotating 5-2-2-5 Schedule. 12 hour shifts. 5 nights on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off!
