Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years’ obstetric sonography experience.
• Ability to perform obstetric scans independently.
• Excellent communication and patient-centred care.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric ultrasound examinations for NHS patients with accuracy.
• Produce clear imaging to support clinical decisions.
• Provide patient-centred care and information throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records per standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, midwives, obstetricians and others.
• Follow departmental protocols and best practices.
• Mentor junior staff and share expertise.
• Contribute to quality assurance and governance.
