Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a General & Gynae Sonographer (Obs Desirable) for a private hospital in Bath. The role focuses on performing high-quality General and Gynae ultrasound scans, supporting accurate diagnoses and patient care in a fast-paced imaging department.

You will work Mon-Fri, 09:00–17:00, with Band 7 level and a competitive hourly rate. Registration with HCPC or SoR is required, plus postgraduate ultrasound qualification and extensive experience in General & Gynae imaging,

Qualifications

• HCPC or SoR registration required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
• Extensive General & Gynae sonography experience; Obstetrics desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform General & Gynae ultrasound examinations, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, contributing to multidisciplinary discussions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and adhere to departmental protocols and national guidelines.
