Responsibilities

• Act as a competent Scrub Practitioner for a range of surgical procedures, especially robotic, urology, and vascular lists.
• Prepare, check, and maintain surgical instruments, robotic equipment, consumables, and specialist devices required for procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipate requirements, and ensure the safe management of instruments and swabs.
• Deliver high-quality perioperative care, contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
