Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and develop software using Twelve-Factor app methodology. The role emphasizes UI with Angular/React, microservices with Spring Boot, and cloud/DevOps practices.

You will lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers on an onsite basis. The position requires hands-on experience with Java, JEE, and modern front-end frameworks, plus delivery of scalable, accessible software and adherence to security

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software applications using Twelve-Factor App methodology.
Develop UI components with AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Implement GUI using Angular/React/Node.js, ES13+ features.
Design and develop Microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful architecture.
Lead cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance.
Develop and maintain DAO with DB2 and PostgreSQL, ORM usage.
Create POCs and test frameworks for API testing with Cucumber/Gherkin/Java.
