Job summary

LHH is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to lead complex renovation and redevelopment projects in the Baltimore region. The role targets a construction leader who thrives in challenging environments and enjoys transforming existing buildings into vibrant spaces.

Responsibilities include overseeing field operations, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, enforcing safety, and maintaining schedules, quality, and preservation requirements on applicable projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Experience in historic renovation, preservation, adaptive reuse, or restoration preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations from start to closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel to stay on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with PMs, owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Lead site safety efforts and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for project execution.
