Job summary

San Diego Padres is seeking a Security Officer (Day Shift) to patrol Petco Park, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff. The role includes responding to incidents, coordinating with emergency services, conducting investigations, and maintaining comprehensive logs.

You'll monitor CCTV and access control, support event load-ins/loads-outs, and serve as a first responder to alarms. A BSIS Guard Card and bilingual abilities are valued, with full-time, non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrols ballpark property and ensures security for guests and staff.
• Responds to safety incidents and coordinates with emergency services as needed.
• Maintains detailed incident reports and logs.
• Monitors loading dock entries and verifies deliveries.
• Operates CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Attends event briefings to support load-ins/loads-outs.
• Acts as first responder to alarms, medical calls, or property damages.
• Greet guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
