Job summary

Turning Point Action seeks a Ballot Chaser to support its Chase The Vote initiative. You will work closely with the Ballot Chase Manager to build relationships across communities and motivate residents to participate in elections.

You will develop a local network to monitor voting habits, collect and track data daily, and strive to meet stated goals in a fast-paced campaign environment.

Qualifications

• Field staff, grassroots campaign, or relevant experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity and proficiency with Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets)
• Knowledge and demonstrated competence of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned
• Unmatched passion for conservative politics
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for dynamic, self-directed work environment

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with the Ballot Chase Manager.
• Build inter-community relationships across designated precincts.
• Encourage residents to send in their ballots.
• Build a community network system to identify and monitor low-propensity voting habits.
• Track data daily to ensure goals are reached and reported.
