Job summary

Turning Point Action is seeking a Ballot Chaser leader to drive the Chase The Vote initiative across a designated territory. You will collaborate with the Ballot Chase Manager to build community relationships and motivate supporters to submit ballots.

Ideal candidates have grassroots organizing experience and strong communication skills, with proficiency in Google Drive and social platforms. You will monitor voter engagement, track data daily, and uphold a positive, self-directed work ethos.

Qualifications

• Field staff or grassroots campaign experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets).
• Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Willingness to perform all duties and any additional duties.
• Passion for conservative politics.
• Flexible and enthusiastic for self-directed work.
• Strong work ethic and goal orientation.
• Self-starter and self-motivated.
• Punctual and responsive.
• Ethical and responsible behavior.
• Innovative and willing to try new approaches.
• Must reside within three miles of the posting zip code.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with the ballot chase manager.
• Build inter-community relationships.
• Encourage ballots to be sent in.
• Create a community network to monitor low propensity voting in a designated territory.
• Track data daily with the Ballot Chaser and Ballot Chase Manager.
