Job summary

Element U.S. Space & Defense in Camden, AR seeks a full-time Ballistics Lab Technician to perform tests on energetic and inert projectiles. You will read and execute test plans, monitor tests, and document data for evaluation by the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; college credit or trade school in ballistics preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant lab experience in ballistics testing.
• Fundamental safety practices and ability to follow test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test setup: read specs from technical documents, identify and prepare test equipment.
• Perform testing: monitor tests, troubleshoot, and document data.
• Data processing: verify and finalize data; submit to Program Manager.
• Lab maintenance: clean equipment, calibrations, organize supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
