Ursa Major is seeking a Ballistics Analyst II in Colorado to support SRM propulsion research, design, analysis, and testing. You will develop computational tools, review test data, and present results to government partners and customers, contributing to energetic materials modeling and rapid investigation support.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 2+ years in energetics, and proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C++, or Fortran, plus eligibility for a Secret

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years in Solid Rocket Motors or energetics.
• Energetics performance analysis experience.
• Experience with experimental design and data analysis.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Proficiency in CLWire, SPP, or similar ballistic tools.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, or Fortran.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
