Overview

Ballet Teacher Part-Time – The Barre Dance Academy

Location: Rocky Mount, NC (approximately 45 minutes from Raleigh, NC)

Schedule: Weeknights in the evening (4–5 hours weekly). Flexible; can work with your schedule and potentially all on one night. Opportunity for privates and solo choreography.

Responsibilities

• Teach ballet, lyrical, and modern classes to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Inspire and motivate students through engaging and effective instruction
• Create choreography for recital and competition dances
• Develop a strong ballet program for both recreational and competitive dancers
• Provide strong dance technique training for students as young as 4 years old
• Work with children with minimal existing ballet training and help them progress
