Job description

Express Service Advisors at Carter Subaru manage approximately 20-25 repair orders per day, all express service, menu maintenance, and light repair. This position includes greeting customers, writing repair orders, managing additional work needed, advising on maintenance needs, providing clear explanations to customers, and invoicing/cashiering. It also includes answering phones and scheduling. Shifts are rotating 4/10's.

Pay is $23.00 per hour, plus commission based on customer satisfaction, and ranges from $56K-76K/year. This position is an excellent place to learn the skills needed to become a service advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee flow of Express Service.
  • Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments that leave a positive impression.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person.
  • Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is sold effectively to service customers.
  • Manage repair orders and cars as they move through the shop for maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Previous car dealership experience preferred but not required

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance
  • WA state driver's license required
  • Clean & clear WA state driving record required
  • Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen required
