Job summary

The City of Casper Solid Waste Facility is seeking an experienced Baler Systems Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the baler and related equipment. You’ll diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and gas systems and perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability.

You’ll fabricate and repair components using welding equipment and a plasma table, coordinate parts orders, and keep repair records while operating forklifts, skid steers, and other heavy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills required.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, mining, recycling or heavy equipment is highly desirable.

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot baler and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and gas systems.
