Job summary

Pratt – Target Container in Hebron, Kentucky is seeking a Baler Operator to safely run the baler, perform cleanup, and help drive improvements in operations. The role requires standing, lifting, and operating a forklift as needed, with attention to safety and GMP compliance.

You will maintain bale reports, follow plant procedures, and may work overtime. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior experience with baling, corrugated scrap, or forklift operation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow factory master instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to perform basic high school math and measurements.
• Safety-focused; comply with GMPs and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Make good, neat bales.
• Operate baler and manage scrap materials.
• Maintain accurate bale reports.
• Operate a forklift when needed and safely.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety committees.
• Work overtime as necessary.
• Adhere to plant procedures and housekeeping rules.
