Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a BALER OPERATOR to handle the baler, ensure neat bales, and manage bale reporting at our facility. This role includes safe forklift operation and proactive maintenance duties within a GMP-driven environment.

The candidate will work under company safety policies, contribute to Plant Safety initiatives, and may be required to work overtime as needed. Prior corrugated industry experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Make good, neat bales.
• Operate baler and use up all unusable and corrugated scrap.
• Maintain accurate bale reports.
• Operate a forklift in a safe manner when necessary.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs and be proactive in equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and participate in Plant Safety activities.
• Comply with GMPs and housekeeping standards.
• Overtime may be required.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
